Emily began hand crafting jewelry in 2005. As far back as she remembers, she has had an attraction to the free spirited beauty and creative expression found in jewelry that is handmade.
However, it was during a trip to Colorado that she became inspired to create her own jewelry designs. She was struck by the abundance of beautiful gemstone jewelry there and its seeming
ability to carry the spirit of a place. She discovered soon after that she held a passion for creating these kinds of jewelry pieces.
Emily enjoys working with many materials. Semi-precious gemstones, freshwater pearls, sterling silver and gold vermeil, are among her favorites. Her designs are inspired by the beauty and
mystery in natural stones and materials. She enjoys including both contemporary and classic styles of jewelry in her collections.
A Berkshire native, Emily grew up in Great Barrington, Massachusetts and now resides in Lanesborough, MA with her husband and three children. She has a degree in Business Administration
from Bay Path College and a bachelor's degree in sociology from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams, MA.
Emily has sold her jewelry at arts & crafts shows and various events throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York. We're very happy to now offer her exquisite work, here at Artisans
of the Berkshires!
