| Old Grange Hall: Photograph by JL Gardner. I came across this old building in Nebraska; on my way from Cheyenne, Wyoming to Chadron, Nebraska, to inspect a site there for my work. This place is located at the intersection of country highways Routes 71 and 2. The doors were wide open and there wasn't a soul within a mile of the place. The wind was blowing something fierce, I went inside and spooked a barn owl who swooped down and quickly out a broken window. It was a mighty spooky scene what with the wind howling and no one anywheres to be seen. I took a bunch of pictures inside and out and even went into the basement. Didn't look like the place had been used for years! |
