| Old Farm Equipment in Richmond: Photograph by JL Gardner. "This old piece of farm equipment sits in the middle of a field on the east side of Swamp Road about one mile north of the intersection with Lenox Road, otherwise known as Carey Corner. It seems to me this piece of equipment has been sitting there my whole life and realistically, it probably has. Left there by a farmer who may have thought, 'hell with it, instead of fixing it or moving it out of the way, I'll just leave it where it is!' I finally got around to taking a photo of it in the Autumn of 2006. I guess is was worth the wait!" |
