This image seems to capture some of the best of what these hills have to offer; the placid waters of Card Pond, the rich foliage of Autumn, and clean, clear air. To me, nothing could be more tranquil and soothing to the soul. I took this photo in the Autumn of 2005 on my way back from Great Barrington. This view is from the western shore of Card Lake in West Stockbridge, MA. I was fortunate enough to capture this view just before the sun set behind me and the Taconic Mountain Range to the west." |
