| Card Lake in Autumn: Framed Photograph by JL Gardner. 11X14 image of Card Lake in West Stockbridge, Massachusetts taken in the fall of 2005. I actually came back and took many shots of this scene on different days, with different cameras and different speed film, but always just before the sun sank behind the hills to the west and behind me. Amazingly, the Massachusetts Turnpike is located right behind the trees on the far shore of Card Lake and when the leaves fall (which usually happens not soon after the leaves turn to orange, red and gold), this is whole different scene! |
