| Boats on Pontoosuc Lake: Photograph by JL Gardner. "This beautiful scene can actually be found right over the state border in Upper Hollowville, NY. I still consider this area to be part of the Berkshire mountains and therefore appropriate subject matter for my camera lense. This is recent work, shot just this past Autumn on another one of those picture-perfect autumn days. I was coming back from Hudson, NY and noticed this amazing barn and pond just off to the right and down in a hollow off US Route 57. Sometimes it pays to 'rubber neck!' Sorry to those motorists who might have been following me on this day!" |
