Black Hills' Ghost Town: Photograph by JL Gardner. I came across this place along Route 85 in the far western region of the Black Hills in South Dakota. I'm not sure if it's an old abandoned farm or homestead, a mining town or what - it sure was a desolate spot and seemed welcoming of ghosts! Oh, I passed through this area on Easter Sunday, April 1st, 2007, on my up to Devil's Tower in Wyoming.
